General terms and conditions
Irene van Vugt hatdesign, a Dutch company with its headquarter in
Brigittenstraat 20, 3512 KM Utrecht (Netherlands), is registered at the chambre

Irenevan Vugt performs all activities only according these conditions, unless
agreed different on paper.
Orders placed by partner programs do not defeat these conditions.
Prices
All prices indicated by Irene van Vugt on the website are expressed in Euros,
including VAT. Delivery within the Netherlands is free. Delivery costs outside
the Netherlands are stated separately. All prices are subject to change.
Amended prices do not affect current orders, unless such an increase is subject
to legal requirements. Irene van Vugt is not bound by the description of its
collection on the website, and is thus not liable for any typing errors involving sales prices, for
example.
Orders
Orders are placed on the order page on the website. You should complete the
order form fully and truthfully. Sending the order form means that you are placing
an order. You must also agree to the general terms and conditions. You have 7
working days in which to return or exchange your order. (See: Exchanging &
Returning). At the end of this period, the sales agreement is a fact.
Payments
After placing an order, you will receive confirmation by e-mail containing details of

Do not forget to place your ordernumber with the transfer.
Delivery is only made after payment.The delivery time starts once Irene van Vugt
has received payment. In the case of bank transfer, the items are shipped after receipt of payment.
Hats are reserved for you for 7 days after placing your order. If your payment is
not received within 7 days, you will receive an e-mail reminder. You then have a
few days to make your payment, after which your order will be cancelled. As soon
as your payment has been received, we strive to hand over the order to TNT Post
by the next working day.
Guarantee and liability
Irene van Vugt guarantees that the supplied items are in good condition and
correspond with the descriptions. Exceptions may be slight colour differences
from colours shown on the photos. The guarantee applies for 1 month after
delivery unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
If the customer accidentally receives a product which is different from the item
ordered, Irene van Vugt will exchange it for the originally ordered item free of
charge. The customer should contact info@irenevanvugt.nl within eight days of
receipt. Irene van Vugt provides a receipt of purchase with regard to this
guarantee.
Within the guarantee period, faults proved by the buyer and any faults,
imperfections or defects due to Irene van Vugt will be rectified, replaced or taken
back in exchange for a refund as soon as possible by Irene van Vugt. You should
notify Irene van Vugt by e-mail or in writing about your complaint.
Irene van Vugt determines the method of repair and/or shipment. Irene van Vugt

item with a new item, you must make your choice within 30 days. If the complaint
is founded, delivery costs within the guarantee period will be paid by Irene van

The guarantee period does not apply if the fault was the result of improper or
careless use, negligence, if you or third parties have modified or attempted to
modify the item (without written permission from Irene van Vugt), if the purchased
item has been used for purposes for which it was not intended, or other blame
attributable to the buyer or normal wear and tear.
Irene van Vugt is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from
whatever cause, inflicted on you or your family, on your property, on third parties
or on property pertaining to third parties. If it is established that Irene van Vugt is
liable for any damage, liability will be maximised to the net invoice sum of the
order (invoice value minus VAT, or other government levies and other net price
increasing factors, such as transport costs).

Irene van Vugt is not liable to fulfil any commitments to the customer if prevented
by force majeure. Force majeure includes serious business disruption at Irene
van Vugt and transport stagnation.

Deviations
Deviations in texts, colours, prices and images are reserved.
